Your business will be required to complete a verification process at the start of your first Google campaign with AffluentBridge™. Once verification is initiated, Google often gives 30 days to complete the process.
Why Does My Business Need to Verify?
Google requires verification of all its advertisers to ensure safe and trustworthy ads for its users and to comply with new and emerging regulations. While the AffluentBridge team handles verification, Google requires a business representative to provide several documents via a secure custom link. Completing verification ensures your ads run without interruption and that our team can properly manage and optimize your campaign. You can read more about the verification process from Google here.
Documents Required for Verification
Our team will handle the verification process, but in order to do so, you will need to provide Google with a government-issued photo ID and two of the following registration documents:
A document, notice, or letter, either issued by the IRS or stamped by the IRS that states your organization’s name, such as:
• CP575 (Employer Identification Number (EIN) Confirmation Letter)
• 147C (EIN Verification Letter)
• Other acceptable IRS documents: Form 8871, 8872, or 990 from the IRS website
A state-issued certificate of business registration or incorporation
A business credit report that states your organization’s name from Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion
A dated letter requesting verification for a government or public agency, written on official agency letterhead.
If you have an accountant or bookkeeper, they may be able to help you quickly locate these documents. Once you have secured two (2) of these documents and your ID, please scan them and follow the steps below to submit them.
How to Submit Your Documents for Verification
An AffluentBridge team member will email you when the verification process is initiated. Your email will include a secure, custom link that lets you submit the documents above directly to Google. Our team will be notified when the verification is approved or if further action is required.
How Will Verification Affect My Ads?
Verification will allow your ads to run uninterrupted. Additionally, Google will allow users to view necessary information about your business in ad disclosures to maintain trust and transparency. This information includes your verification status, the legal name of your organization, and the country in which your business operates.

Google may require additional verification periodically throughout your campaigns.
